dawg bone tip up

i bought a few of the dawg bone tip ups price is right. looks like i could have problems with a ten inch auger looks like i should of spent a couple more bucks for some polars

A buddy of mine bought the same ones and I figure they are designed more for the ice fisherman that has to pack light. My suggestion to him was to look at a dowel rod or small diameter PVC pipe that you can easily attach to it if you are going to be using a 10" auger.  I'd hate to see those go down the hole cause they were too small.

I grabbed a few of these too, good price.  The extension idea is a good one for your 10" hole, The actual size of these measures 14" long, my opinion you probably wont have an issue.  Also an idea for added security run a hole cover with it, two birds with one stone!
