Nils Convertible Cordless Hand Auger!

I wouldnt use the ryobi. I have the same drill and it started smoking after 6 holes. Invest in a better drill and save the ryobi for what it was made for... small home projects

I've read that the 6" strikemaster that Cold Snap makes will fit the 6" Nils.  If I can find one, I might try it.  That's good information on the upgraded batteries coming out for the Porter Cable drill!!

I'm not slamming you at all, but whoever wrote that was ill informed.  Cold Snap doesn't make a 6" auger cover for any auger cover - yet.  I just got off the phone with the Cold Snap company owner and he told me that 6" covers are in development but not available to the public just yet.  Maybe later this season or for sure next season; but not yet.  They also make a cover specifically for the Nils augers so you wouldn't have to buy a Strikemaster cover.  Check them out at Cold Snap Outdoors

If you meant a 6" Cold Snap cover, you'd be correct since they haven't been made yet.

Consider me Mr. Ill Informed!!  I assumed they made 6" covers for other augers EXCEPT the Nils so that's where I came up with my comment.  Obviously I'm completely wrong, sorry for the confusion    I'll be on the look out for a 6" Nils if they ever make one.

I would suggest that no one buys the kluge adapter. That rod running through it is an accident waiting to happen
