Anyone interested in doing some evening fishing for eyes on Brushy on Sunday- Tuesday evenings hit me up. My ex partner changed days off and can't swim anyways.   ;D

Went out Friday around 1:00 in the afternoon, caught some really nice gills and a couple of crappie..... Heard about people catching some walleye in about 20 to 25 feet range with a jigging spoon tipped with a wax worm or minnow head, ice is about 5 to 9 inches thick

We didn't do much better. Found fish all day but getting them to bite seemed like mission impossible.  Everyone else that I talked too gave the same report. Lots of lookers

just got off brushy, marked lots of fish but nothing was biting, a guy came up to and talked for a bit, turned out he was driving around seeing if anybody was having any luck, he'd talked to two guys who were using a camera, they told him they could see fish but couldn't get a thing to bite, I guess they'd even bopped a walleye on the nose with a minnow but it wouldn't bat an eye at it

Super slow for us today, and if we didnt have two cameras between us both, we wouldn't have caught the ones we did. Moved out to the channel in 42 fow, since other guys were, but couldn't mark a fish out there. We should have just stayed in the 27', where we were at least seeing and catching a few. Cold front prob has them shut down.

Found 15 hungry gills near the South boat ramp in 15-18 FOW. That's the best day I've had this season. Luckily I was shielded from most of the wind

Little scouting found the mass of crappies tonight. Not out there but that's the word I got. Guy caught his limit I guess

Not catching much so far today. Probably would make a difference if we had a vexilar. Oh well still having a blast on a great weather day.

Started on the north end yesterday about 6:30am and caught a dink walleye and nice crappie. Moved to the south end and caught pry 50 gills, a perch and a crappie. Only a couple keeper gills tho. Some people pry woulda kept them but I don't keep anything small. Was a great day, just gotta find the size now.

Finally made it down to brushy fished over by south east boat ramp by the jetty marked a few but no takers got there very late 4pm should have stayed home next time will be there early in the morning and fish it hard I don't like driving that far and getting skunked.
As I have never fished brushy before just wondering what a few good lures are for this lake or is it a bait lake? I don't want to know top secret lures just some that are productive so I know what they prefer

Any new reports on how the fishing has been? Going to make the annual trip on Sunday and looking to see if they are hungry. We will be going  out from the north ramp.

Any help is appreciated. Anybody use the Dingledrop jig out there yet and have any luck with it. The guide up here on a Clear lake uses it and loves it for the yellow bass, bluegills, and crappies.

Can't stress enough to find unfished water... From 24-30 foot deep. Go a little further south than the majority, I found numbers of perch doing that the other day. Good luck.
