Loudmouth879 still holds the top spot but with back to back wins the last two weeks TinyTim is closing fast. Hayden loses ground this week but still holds on to third, which may soon be compromised because Puncho is closing fast. Jonathon is trying to close the gap and has made some progress on the rest of the field but is it to late?  Hopkins and iluvcrappie were no where to be found the past couple weeks and it has hurt their place in the standings. However a couple strong weeks and they could be right back in. Will TinyTim or Hayden catch Loudmouth879? Come back on January 11th at 9PM EST to find out!

So after 5 weeks Loudmouth879 extends his lead this week by 1 point after dropping a point each of the last 2 weeks. TinyTim managed to hold on to 2nd place while fishing the lake and looks to be in full control over 2nd place in the standings. Puncho punches his way past Hayden after finishing 3rd this week and Hayden not playing for the 2nd consecutive week but still maintains a good lead over 5th place Jonathon. No change in 6th thru 8th as none of them fished again for the 3rd straight week. We also welcome ckfish to the tournament who after having some technical difficulties only received 20 participation points after what looked like he would challenge for the first place spot this week (pending official ruling from Hayden). With only 3 weeks left in the competition who will make it into the Tournament of Champions? Will Loudmouth879 be over taken by TinyTim? Will anyone else challenge them for the top 2 spots? All tournaments are at 9 PM Eastern time. Still deciding on the gamemode, I am choosing between best 3/5 fish and Normal. 1st Place gets 100 points, 2nd gets 99, 3rd gets 98 and so fourth. If you catch no fish you still get 20 participation points. Each player's worst two tournaments will be dropped. The top 45% will be entered into the TOC rounded up to the nearest total. How the random lake will work, I will select a random player in the lobby, this player will pick the lake, season, and time for that day. Every tournament will include a 15 minute practice and a 45 minute tournament. Tight Lines!

So I decided to take the lowest 2 weeks out as of now to give people an idea of where they stand the week before going into the TOC! After 6 weeks and taking out the 2 lowest weeks Loudmouth879 loses a lot of ground to TinyTim who with consistent finishes has cut the lead to one point! However, both of them seem to be a lock to get into the TOC. Puncho maintains his 3rd position and also looks to be a lock for the TOC. The battle to watch will be for 4th and possibly the final TOC spot (unsure if the top 45% is people or points!) -Hopkinz- who got a first place this week might be kicking himself for not playing a few of the earlier weeks as he is on the outside looking in. Jonathon seems to be the only one that has a chance to get into that last TOC spot as Haden not playing this week and only getting 20 points the two weeks prior looks to be a sitting duck. As for ilovecrappie, kevin 1, ckfish, and Milt they can use the up coming weeks for practice as they are all but out of the TOC. Should be an interesting battle for that final TOC spot so make sure to tune in next week 1/25/14 at 9PM ET to find out who will get that spot and if TinyTim can take over the #1 seed entering the TOC!

So the 7 "practice" rounds have finished up and now it is time for the Tournament of Champions!!!!!!!!!!! But first this weeks roundup. With the slippery ice it was hard to move around and after an early lead TinyTim looked to have the 1 seed in his back pocket but after taking a chance and moving around a bit Loudmouth879 came out of nowhere to steal it away with a first place finish thus proving his dominant 7 weeks by missing perfection because he couldn't catch burbot  TinyTim held on to second this week after swapping back and forth with Puncho because he didn't make it back to the starting area in time... Doesn't seem to have affected his chances at the TOC because he his solidly in 3rd. Now Hayden missing this week might have cost him a chance at winning the TOC but only time will tell. Jonathon also cost himself a chance at the TOC by not playing this week and Milt although only catching a little bit of fish moved up to 7th. with 8th through 10th not showing up again. Are any of them alive  Anyway I don't know who is in so Hayden will have to post that up but I think it is Loudmouth with the #1 seed then TinyTim with the 2 seed Puncho with the 3 seed and maybe Hayden with the 4 seed.... unsure about Jonathon. Hopefully the TOC date will be pushed back so Loudmouth879 doesn't have to play in Arizona and TinyTim can focus on the derby (good luck btw hope you catch the big one!). Until next time!
