First time poster to the website.  28 degrees here today - hoping for ice by December 10th.  Probably won't happen but a guy can hope.

Love the Northland Buckshot Rattle.

You and me both. Tom got me all setup with the new PK Spoons in Glow as well. AND I'm swapping my flutter fish from my soft water bag into my new hard water bag. And adding my Swedish Pimples. I'm thinking those won't see much action though. LOL! JUST NEED ICE!

whitetail/walleyefreak,
I have been having a tough time finding the slender spoons here in SK?
Can I ask where did you find yours? ???

For walleye I have had recent luck on the mid sized to smaller PK flutter fish.
I have also had some luck on Reelbait flasher jigs and minnows or smelt and buckshot rattle spoons tipped with a chunk of minnow.

My favorite is a half ounce orange buckshot glow. Had to replace the hook because one bent it right out of whack but it never seems to fail me!

Thanks  for the info yank0073. :)
I was in Pokeys last week and saw that he had the slender spoons + other new items.
I picked 2 of the pro series up. ;)
They look like they should flutter well.

T-tots and pk lures. I wish pks had better hooks on them, after 2 or 3 fish there bent to ****.

I know what you mean... I find the same is true about Northland buckshot spoons.  Spent a good chunk of time this season taking out all the trebles on my old pks and buckshots and replacing them with gamakatsu trebles... seem to work much better.

PK's is a very young company and Pat the owner is a great guy. I absolutely would contact him and leave a comment through the web site of your results and/or findings with the hooks bending. He's always looking for that kind of input to make the lures better.

I also sat down about 4 days ago and replaced 4 of the 15 or so pk trebles. But they have caught a lot of fish. Once they bend out I always straighten them. So it's going to break sooner or later.

Hi Guys I have noted this and PK will see where they can improve the Hooks. They are Very sharp and the Metal used as with any lures especially when they are in the smaller sizes can at times become a little weak when twisted to remove them. This is because you want to try and keep the thinnest gauge you can to assist in catching the most fish. Thanks for Bringing this to our attention. Where ever possible Pk will see what they can do to improve them. :icefish:
