Does the Bartel Bait have any Buckeyes?  If so what time do they open this Sunday?

fished big bay this afternoon. discusting to say the least !!!  >:( >:( >:(. I wiil not be going back there any time soon !! between the trash everywhere, pickreral, and northerns, and bags of fish guts all over the ice. not to mention 100's of small gills evrywhere !!!
thier gonna need a trash truck to pick up the mess left by irresponsible fishermen. they will be the first ones to complain when the access is shut down !!!    Sully...

Yup. I fished it last year and it was the same way!! I will not be fishing out there again either.

Fished the North Shore with Snagger, HT, Adam and his Pops, the F&R twins.... But truth be told I think Release slept in because I didn't hear any cussing and it was a tough bite to say the least. Fun day however humbling for my part. 0 keeper eyes but 8 good perch including a nice 13.75   HT made my day with a huge Burbot and plenty of jokes at my expense.... See I forgot my auger  :-[   Decent ice but a lot of spots where the spud went thru with 1 or 2 whacks. Dumped a ton of fish at the end of the day so lets hope I got it out of the way  ::) ::) Great to be on Oneida again

Fished today with my buddy Eric. It was pretty slow. I ended up squeaking out a limit of eyes and a couple shorts. We put on a lot of miles searching and we did not mark many fish. The ice on the East end of Bernard's Bay was 2.5" and the ice in front of the condos out near the first drop and beyond was not good. There were several spots where the spud went through in 1 shot. Some wicked shove ice /slush near the winter bar, unfishable it was so thick. The snow settled down a lot today. It was a great day to be on the ice!!!

Sorry to hear about the conditions at Big Bay but unfortunately not surprising. Today walking off at Edgewater I picked up two Styrofoam coffee cups about 100 feet from the road. Apparently it was too much of an effort to toss them onto their sleds rather than on the ice   ???.

Hit Lewis late this afternoon, it was great to be on the ice. Got 2 keepers up and dumped 1 at the hole, otherwise it was slow. Ice varied, be careful.

YO finally getting a change to start reading tru you guys are busy already,  got my gear out today didn't make it to get any bait but took a short walk out from the house with my little man and made a snowman out there.  ill be heading out tomorrow morning for sure i walked out to 20' had a good 4-5" of ice the snow on top was wet at least theirs only an inch or two should make for a good tug out.

Hit the Northshore with the boys, put 6 keeper eyes on the ice and a dozen perch, ....had to sort the perch, rare for Oneida... ended up keeping 5, drag was a bear mid day, little better around 4pm as the snow began too crust over, same as everyone else has said, found good 4 inch ice but also found some nasty spots, looked like someone put a leg threw in one spot......wear your life preservers and bring that spud if your trail blazing in no mans land and not on trails......

Nice!  Fished Eel Bay on the St Lawrence today and there were full size pickups driving on the ice!  About a 1' of ice, but the top 6" is crap.  Guess I'll try Oneida tomorrow.  Eel Bay was not worth the gas.  Lots of dinks and a few northerns.
