I would hit the south end of Eagle Island or deep waters off the point provided the ice is safe. We haven't been out yet to report on the ice conditions. Check with Bay Bridge or Warren's on ice conditions. @)

I also want to go there to try fishing, but also can't fine ice condition on it. I guess i'll have to drill my way out to see if its safe ice and hope i don't go threw.

speaking of honeoye is the south end the place to be or where should one start ? I have never fished hard water there only soft. I know i should probably start a new thread but sometimes its just easier to make things confusing

Someone said to start at the South end if I'm not famliar.  Where is a good access to get ot on the ice, any ideas on parking?  Never been on the bay to ice fsh, mainly hit it up North. Thanks for any help.

Good place to start is bay bridge or davenports. Both are at the south end. Id say a bunch of folks should be out tomorow....kinda follow the crowd! But be safe first and foremost!

The pond side of fairhaven was 6" yesterday. Bunch of sunfish. Few dink perch and a couple keepers. Anyone killing the slobs out in big sodus?
