Anybody ice fish for Bowfin? Just wondering how they do in the winter as Ive got a couple spots id like to try up on the Gut.

Dead bait on the bottom is what I have heard works. 
The closest flag up may be the one that is behind you !

This one fell to a spear. Tip ups work as well. Thi sguy is about 34" or so. See bigger ones each winter. Dead bait on bottom later in the season is indeed a great method.

I will be eating it. You see, vegetables love to eat decomposed fish, then I will pick em from th egarden and eat them.
