« on: Jan 05, 2013, 06:12 PM »
Can anyone find a place that will sell Partridge of Redditch Hooks? I would like to purchase there Instant Strike hook in size 6 or 8 and I have checked a few websites and can't find them.

Mustard bought them... Many of the hooks like the Double Rider (used for quick strike rigs) have been discontinued. I have a good supply of them, but when I can't find them I make my own with two hooks, epoxy  and Kevlar thread... They hold up great and never had one fail on a fish.

Mustad sold them:

Partridge of Redditch, one of the oldest established fish hook brands, has been sold by O. Mustad & Son to UK company Fishing Matters. After negotiations dating back to May this year, Fishing Matters owner Mark Hamnett confirmed to Angling International that he took possession of Partridge this week.
