Was out on Harvey Lake today and yesterday. There were a few groups out there too. There was 6 plus inches of ice.

There's a place in raymond but its tough for early starts you ring the doorbell and wait for him to come out from house to go to his shop I try to get my bait the night before

I fished Pleasant on Sunday.  The shore by the boat ramp had 5" of black ice where I fished.  As the sun and temps rose the ice was very noisy.  Alittle unsettling.  I get bait in Madbury at Taylor's.  He usually is well stocked with all sizes.

I was in tight trout fishing.  Caught one Brown.  You should be able to get fairly close to the ice.  There's a small snow bank but there's been plenty of foot traffic to pack it down.

Thank you for the update.  Nice to see we're not losing ice at this point.  Hopefully, we can hold on to what we have until the next cold spell.

We are putting the house out tomorrow night (we'll check the ice again first!).  We'll be the goofballs with the sat dish on the house!

BAIT- there is a hardware store/gas station on Route 4 in Northwood, just west of Johnson's.  I got shiners there last year- only a few minutes from the boat launch at Pleasant.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here fish the south end of the lake? I'll be out there Saturday with a few of my buddies and just wanted to know if there's anyone worth introducing myself to.

We'll be back! My dad and I were fishing along the shore not really in the cove? I had on a black jacket and skidoo snow bibs.
I think my old man headed up to Horn pond today.
