I just bought 10 more!! Where is the ice? Hopefully Horsethief soon and Casacade right behind! Anyone been out to either place?

What is the limit for trout at Horsethief?

All I have ever caught here is perch so far.

I wasn't sure of trout limits.

Could one of you post a pic of these jigger totters? I have heard you guys talk about them a lot last year with good succes and I think they are made by one of the IS idaho members if my memory serves me right, thanks in advance

You can pick them up at Sportsmans
And not sure if they are at cabelas or Mott
Never seen them there!! Maybe cause they sell

Thin steel or aluminum they are the best
Won't fish with out it.!

I believe the local sportsmans in Meridian Carey's them, Tackle Toms has them, but often get sold out at toms in cascade, I was lucky enough too pull Robs snomobile back too the launch one day and hooked me up with a couple than I had too have them for all my rods..... Thanks again Rob,

The only problem I have with the JT's, and I have 10 of them, is that for some reason I am never sitting in front of the right one on a light bite day! It's always the one I walk away from that gets the hit!

I am thrilled and humbled by all the great comments.

They are only sold 3 places, sportsman's warehouse meridian and nampa, tackle tom's in cascade and the website given above. I have discontinued the mild steel line and went stainless only. I have a few mild steel left. pm me if you might be interested.

If this season produces well in the sportsmans stores, next season we may be talking company wide. We'll just wait and see

Do you really sale more stainless than the mild steel ? kinda figured the mild would be more popular because of the price.

"Icehogger84" if you are watching the shanty and keeping up with us....well.... WE MISS YOU. Life delivers alot of hard knocks that maybe one alone has a hard time dealing with. But Rob we all love you and we feel your pain, we can be in this together, but come back "PLEASE"! I am proud to have been able to Fish on the ice with you and Daniel. I am sure Daniel would want you to be part of our Ice Fishing Shanty family again. Being retired Military and seeing alot of my Brothers and Sisters suffer though hard times, and knowing that togetherness and brotherhood can heal alot of pains, I for one want you to know, "I am" and "We are", there for you. Please come back to the Shanty, you were the Back bone of this site. Love and prayers my Brother from the Ice.
