50 degrees. Raining. Wind is kicking. Lake looks like it has a foot of water on top of it.

I've had fun the few times I've been out this season, but it's been pretty underwhelming for the most part. Reminds me of a bad movie that I keep watching over and over again. Hopefully a few more outings are in-store

20 in NW Howell at the moment, should tighten up the shores on a couple of lakes. Looks like a bluegill winter, oh well better than nothing.

Maybe Al Gore is right :/ Might go look for morels this week or at least start strengthening my lookers and get a little exercise while there ain't no snow. 65 in February, that just ain't right. Dazed and confused

I'd love to see a mid-february morel. Your lookers will get some great practice that's for sure lol Time in the woods on a nice day is always worth it though.

I was out on the ice that weekend in the morning. Ice was good in the morning but started to get bad towards noon. That's when me and a friend ended up leaving. Now I`ve got my ice gear put away until next year.

3 years ago we had 3ft of ice in March, 3 years later we have none. Put my ice fishing gear away Monday and gathered a couple hundred worms this morning. Time to start bobber fishing

I went to see a guy that was talking about kayaking today on a lake. I told him he would need an ice breaker if he planded on kayaking as the lake sealed over last night.
