Last I knew there was access from Millinocket Lake by snowmobile trail thats comes out at the north west end of Debsconeag. If you do go let us know how you did, last time i was in there was in the 80"s open water caught a Hog of a Togue.Alway wanted to ice fish it,that lake had the clearest water I've ever seen.

I dont know much about the lakes but i have camped at omaha beach.  By looking at the map seems you could ride a sled up through the chain to get there.  Also a few spider roads near Nahmakanta lake?

The trail crosses the golden rd where the power line is on the side, down from the old GNP gate a little past the dike.  You can park at the dike and take the trail going down the park rd.  It can also be accessed from the trail once you cross abol bridge on the left.  Usually good fishing, good luck

sounds like there is parking at both entry spots.  Hows the snow pack up there is good for a sled?

I might be a little late to the party but the link above is the trail map. ITS 86 (Hurd Pond Rd) from Abol bridge. After second wooden bridge bang a right and you'll get there.

slow but we did get 7 togue biggest was 3.6 pounds.. and got one 17 inch brookie.. had probly 6-7 chew and screws.. and  i was jiggin in 22 feet of water and u could look rite to the bottom like it was only a foot of water, we was very impressed with how clean the water was. hate going some where new and not having a clue where to fish it. we will go back and try another spot to see if it is better fishing in another location
