Half Moon Lake

Has anyone on here been out there this year? Been thinking about taking the kid out there with a few buddies of mine this coming weekend. My uncle said he heard they were bitting pretty well out there a few weeks ago. What can anyone tell me. I will be putting some tip ups in as well and jigging for some. What is everyone using with success?

Which Half Moon Lake are you referring to?  My parents live near the one in Bayfield County, and I would not waste a minute there.  Just a leach/bullhead pond!

I was referring to the one by Mosinee off KK. We changed our mind on spot though. We are going to try Lake Du Bay in the morning instead of Half moon.
