Does anyone have any suggestions where to buy parts for an Eskimo Stingray auger other than Eskimo itself. Just wondering if there are any suppliers out there that can beat Eskimo's online pricing?

Yes, & I  am looking for a new recoil assembly

I have been looking into them. I would rathet get the strike master but the pr ice is nicer on the eskimo. How do u like it ?

Cuts real well, the only problem I have had is that I have had to replace 2 recoils on it in. Parts are plastic & tend to break when it gets cold. Not sure if Strikemaster are that way or not.

Take the model number off of the engine and go to a small engine shop that works on Tecumseh engines. I believe the parts are still available through the distributors for Tecumseh parts. I still get parts on a regular basis for Tecumseh engines. If you do not have any luck, post your model number here, and I will check for youl

Viper engine parts are not available from Tecumseh dealers. The Viper engine is a Chinese engine built for Eskimo in China, of course.
