Check my report in the reports and conditions page for chautauqua.......Sound s like the only passable ice is in Burtis still.....I found ice elsewhere but I wouldn't be doing the jig on it!!!!

DEC checking Licenses on burtis around 2... few gills today not enough for a fish fry but still catching none the less

I'm jealous you got out -- I had a long and difficult day at work.  Wishin I could have done some "perch therapy"  Soon enough, if the weather forecast is accurate...lots of cold nights in the next week.

Better take survival suit from what I've been told only one inch thick at mayville long point point was only two inches this morning let it's know if you find anything didn't though

Fished long point 3.5 to 5in in some spots had about 10 people out there did ok Very windy

well now since their is no snow on the lake its all black ice and so now the cold can get on the ice and now it will be able to make more ice. so we kinds have to thank god for that rain. cause now the ice can build. thank god.  ;D

You guys just have to bite the bullet and wait for some really cold weather that hopefully will come. If not Oh well there is always next year. The fish aren't worth dying over. Save you money that you would b spending fishing and go out and get a good steak and a few drinks. LOL

Yeah, Im sure those Perch at LP will be waiting for us. Maybe another week or 2 if we can get out of the 30s and into the teens...

 Shaky at best, dont push it anywhere but Burtis without a spud.....

Hi fellas, I'm a newbie.  Chautauqua seems to be left with little ice, but what about other local waters.  Do you think small inland lakes in the area have sufficient ice for Saturday?  Thanks for you help.  Bring on the freeze!

Fished silver lake in perry ny last week with my son. Caught 200 blue gills in 7 hrs. South end in front of macks in 8 fow there was 4 inches of ice and at least 100 others there
