MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
..my advice is "be safe", there are a lot of springs at Hunters...deepest is off the boat launch...I've caught trout, smallmouth, pickerel, and bluegills out of there.
Be great to meet-up Team Disaster!!
Any ice on Hunter's? Looking to do some ice fishing! Where's the ice???
I would like to know conditions for this weekend, but I am not sure it is looking overly promising.
hey Loggy, I fished Hunters and Rose Valley almost exclusively growing up with my dad, And found that they freeze almost at the same rate. Rose Valley isn't quite ready yet, So without checking I would say Hunters is the same. Hunters has a lot of springs feeding it as well so watch where you get on and off and where you step. If you are headed up there anyways take your gear and check it out. Better to have it and not use it, then to not have it and be able to use it.
