I just used some gorilla duct tape and it is holding like glue.  Cover is blue tape black but working well!

I used an Iron on jeans patch, its held for at least 10 years.
X2 on the iron on patch , put a wood on one side to make it nice and flat and then repeat on the opposite side , holds up great

You can get clear gorilla tape - great stuff.

I just ordered a Tear Aid kit from Fish307.  The duct tape I used last year on my Jason Mitchell shanty has started to come "un-stuck".

Gore-Tex patch kits work well depending on the size of area needing repair. Otherwise I cut up used Gators made of Gore-Tex or similar materials, and then use Barge cement.
