Had a Blast 2-25-11

Had a great time on a private lake today with Joe and Brett. Thanks for getting me out had fun!!! We caught a ton of small gills, 3 channels, a few perch and two nice bass. Caught the bass on gills on tip ups. Caught the channels(all about 14-15 inches) on a glow jig tipped with a beemoth. My first time to catch cats through the ice and they are fun. Lost another one at the hole. Biggest bass I've caught through the ice at 20inches.

We had a blast today.  My mother just had angioplasty yesterday and she was very happy to get a good fish dinner out of today's catch.  Bass and channels are a delishous meal.  YUM!!!  Mike, we will do it again soon.  Nice ice on the lake, 5 1/2" to  7 1/2" thick.

A mix bag like that definatly makes a good day on the ice,wtg all 3 of ya.God I wish we still had ice around Indy.. JT
