Traffic Court question - Do they have snow days?
« on: Jan 31, 2011, 07:59 AM »
I figure some one here might know the answer to these questions.

My son got pulled over for speeding and has "must appear" checked on the ticket.  The trick is the court date is Wednesday of this week and we are supposed to get a ton of snow.
  • Do the courts observe snow days?
  • Would WMUR post this info?
  • If the court is closed how will he know when to appear?
  • Should I make him move my woodpile from one side of the wood shed to the other for being a dipstick?
  • Or would a beatin' be enough?

  • Thanks in advance.

I don't know, you might want to call your local town office or the phone number on the ticket.
However, here is some other 'unrelated to icefishing' court information.

    Good read.  ;D

    Rob M-O,

    in all seriousness,  http://www.courts.state.nh.us/
Click on 'Find Your Court': http://www.courts.state.nh.us/courtlocations/index.htm

and find the town the ticket is for.  That'll provide you with a local court number to call to ask these questions.

    Regards,

Thanks NB.  You're right, interesting read.
I've got the number.  I'll have the boy call.

  • Don't know, I would guess not
  • Probably would post it
  • They would probably send another summon
  • Absolutely should!
  • Likely not  ;)
