Bring your lantern. Looks like the lunar table period starts after 5pm. Do they alllow night passage onto the lake? I will be out there later this afternoon into the night.
Thanks.

They allow you to fish out there as late as you want and I fish that lake regularly some good days and some bad days just like any other lake but there are big fish in there

Thanks for the info, I'm getting ready to head out there in a little while. With any luck I'll clean out the lake of all the lunkers. Guess I'd better fuel up the lanterns. :-\

We were out until after midnight and caught 4 gills, 3 small 6 inchers and one 10. tried various presentations and nothing really paid off. no minnow hits, didn't want spikes really, waxies seemed to be the bait of choice for the fish we did land. tough night!   :-\

Keep fishing. Saw a bunch of gills, perch and crappie on my camera this weekend. Had some takers but they have lockjaw right now. For some reason the crappie like the camera?

A guy I fish with who has joined ice shanty fishes three rivers here and there and he gave me the same location to fish that you had given in an earlier post. Just sounded like him! Must be some truth to his fish stories after all!! JK ;D
