Baked Fish Stuffing
« on: Jan 11, 2011, 07:41 PM »
Had this for dinner tonight, fantastic! Can use any fish, I happened to use bluegill tonight. Great alternative for people who do not like fried fish. Also easy to make as a second main course in a fish fry. Take your leftovers and wrap in aluminum foil to heat up on the ice!!!!

In a baking dish, place a layer of thinly sliced onions

Place in microwave on high for 3 minutes

Thoroughly rinse and pat dry the fillets

 Layer them over the onions

Empty a can of cream of celery soup, and 1 can of milk (the soup can) in a bowl

 Whisk thoroughly

Combine the liquid with 1 package of stovetop dressing (chicken flavored)

Spread this mixture evenly over the layered fish

Place in a 350-degree oven for 15 min. covered, and then 10-20 min. uncovered, until the top is golden brown and crusty. Do not to over cook the fish.

Always looking for a new way to fix fish. I will have to give this a try.
Take a kid fishing, they make great pack mules.
Put the big ones back for another day eat the small ones.
