hit it this morning before day break. wasnt the bite one hopes for, with a front comig in, but i did manage a meal. caught 10 fish 10" - 15 1/2". lost 5 or so at the hole. the bites werer very light. the minow would just stop swiming and then down it went. the big one really gave me a ride in the weeds on 2# line. i told polecat i had a bass on for the first min. or two. lol fish were spread all over and suspened 2-6ft down in 6-12ft of water. had to hole hop to score. ice was crystal clear and 8" thick. makin ice the entire time out.

this was happening to the ice after the sun came up good.

it a wonder we caught any, we could see fish under us!

Wow...thats a nice fish and nice pile of 10 solid keepers. The ice was popping all morning yesterday when we were out too..shooting pressure cracks all over the place near us.

Great fish!! As long as its cold and the ice is crackin' I'm fine, its when its warm I worry.

Oh no, got to endure another whopper pic this week. I knew once the RS flywheel got rolling it was going to be hard to slow down/stop! Maybe you can paint a school of minnows on the bottom of your sled for those clear ice conditions and draw em in. First it was ZRWHAT's pics today, now these. Yep, totally feeling like a rookie now. Good job RS.
