Went out to the slough today. Got there at 6:30 am along with about 15 other guys. Fished for 3 hours and caught 6 dinks. there is about 6-8 inches of solid ice. We all were out near the grass in front of HQ. Ice very slick andthe wind was howling. Probably gonna have to wait for a front (low Pressure) to come in to turn on the Big Gills. After fishing for 3 hours walked around to the other guys and they weren't doin much. There you have it. Will ty tomorrow afternoon for the late bite.Hope its better.Also spoke to a Conservation officer , He said guys were out off of Birdhouse Point in the deeper water and did very little.
