Hello Boys,

Hope all had some great family time during the holidays.I am brand new to the sight. Wanted to join in on all the great info you guys post here...looking forward to making a contribution as well.Meanwhile I was hoping to get some help.I am an ex Chicago area guy living in Indy...been here a while now.I usually ice fish some local small water and Summit Lake. Use to do well on Summit for Crappies at night suspended in deep water. However this lake seems to have gone downhill for crappies.

Can you help me with some info of Bass Lake. Of course I don't want to horn in on anybodies honeyhole, just want some general info such as south end, north end or bay name.

The most important thing here is to keep my son on fish. I need to keep his interest up. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am thinking about heading there early next week...still on holiday till the 6th.

I always seam to pick up a walleye or two with a perch threw in at Bass Lake when we go. Just haven't been there yet this year. Good luck. Not sure about that mississinewa ice and this rain.

thanks for the reply....missisenawa scares me with the water level changes..like all central IN reservoirs. But i have had some good crappie fishing there before...let me know if you here about the ice there.
