Just got off Jimmerson. Not sure of the location name. It's back in the bay to the SE side of the lake, I think. Couldn't believe how good the ice was - 6" out over 30 fow. that's where I finially started marking some fish. But no takers to speak of. Edges are still solid as well. Left at 6:00am it was 53 deg, just walked in the door and it's down to 40 deg! Keep it going!!!!

Ice is unsafe here in central Indiana. Heading up to Angola area Monday. I have only fished up there one time and that was @ Fox Lake. Anybody have any suggestions? You can pm me if you want. Thanks for any info.  gaw

Yep we was in first basin when the air boat went out to second basin for rescue. Decide it wasnt worth it/

He got lucky someone saw him in time to get some help!! Be carefull not all lakes around here are safe.. That being said i was out on round today, there was about 9" out there and the bite wasnt to bad.

Yes its true some one was out ice skating on the lake and went into the second basin in the middle and fell through. It took an air boat to get to them but they did get rescued. Everyone be very safe out there, it not worth the risk. I would hate to loose a fellow outdoors man.

It was an ice boat that went in and thier was only an inch of ice where he was. Gotta be smart about where you go , all ice is not the same thickness. Good thing is it's 14 degrees this morn so it will be tightenin back up quickly.
