went out to Hamilton last night. this is what was left on the ice. 12 beer cans,dip cans pop cans.cigarette rappers and packs. food wrappers, hundreds of cigarette buts, a empty bottle of Jim beam in a whole. And to top it off a plastic bag of human crap.What the !!! We as sportsmen are better then this.

wow! thats just unreal. how can someone not feel guilty leaving all their garbage. This is just despicable. disappointed to hear this, im guilty of leaving butts on the ice but ALWAYS pick up all my garbage.

wow....yea that is just about horrible. just got some new tip ups and was thinking about hitting Hamilton but maybe will just stay away instead!!!

I was always taught to leave nature as you find it, this is why its so had to get anyone to give us places to park to get on the ice, just takes a few to mess it up for the rest who respect nature!!!! Its up to all of us to help keep r fishing lakes clean and fishable for our kids and grand kids to come!!!!!

The same thing at the slough today trash everywere and people tossing dinks on the ice to die. Those are to be the 9"ers of the future. What a shame!!!

I agree with you that there are a bunch of slobs on the ice. I was at Sylvan last Wed. and I picked up trash that others had left around me when I left. When I reached the parking lot and almost everybody was gone. A young man that must work for the GSP compound was in the parking lot picking up trash that fisherman tossed out when they were leaving. Take it home.

Nothing makes me more mad than a litterbug... I have picked up bait containers, shirts, ice cleats and a broken bucket off the ice on one of my spots this year. I feel sorry for the person when i catch em' doing this crap...

The problem is that not many have the juevos to speak up and let someone know they are screwing up! Us true anglers need to stand up and protect are privilege to fish these waters... before its lost!!

I just got home from Hamilton with 9 beer cans, a pack of smokes, and a wine bottle. I was happy that was all I found on the ice, last year it was trashed up so bad.

My dad and I fished Hamilton this morning. I couldnt believe all the dead bluegill, cigarettes and other crap (literally) lying around. People need to clean up after theirselves

I saw the bag of crap back on Tuesday and it was still there today. I didnt really notice all of the litter Tuesday since we were in the shanty pretty much all day

I'm happy to say that not all of Hamilton is treated this way. Won't tell you where I fish, but I know of the areas where people commonly go and litter. They are there for the party, not the fishing.
Keep picking up the trash guys, it's appreciated. We shouldn't have to pick up, but it's a responsibility we have as fisherman who care. I think I may start taking a bag with me, not for the fish, but for the trash. Tight lines and clean water to all of you.
