new to flashers need some help

i recently bought the ice kit for my lowrance 522 and need some help gettting it set up. i have been playing with it but am still having a hard time reading it right. anyone ever use or use a boat unit to ice fish with???

Try posting in the equipment (electronics) forum.

You'll get better answers.

Remember, fish will only show as a straight line because the transducer is not moving.
They won't be the "arches" that you are used to in a boat.
