Union Lake---Oakland County

Anyone been out there yet?  Hows the ice?  Just looking for an ice report, may venture that way this coming weekend.

The main lake of Cass was not safe saturday.  I'm assuming Union to be the same way since its as deep as Cass.

I'd be careful out there still.  Same goes for Waste A Day and Orchard.

I live in Oxford, and hit Lake Orion this past weekend.  Nothin but parasitic bluegills.  Looking to venture out a little next weekend.  Never caught a wally through the ice......trying to cross that off my list, lol.  Thanks, I'll wait a couple weeks before I head that way!

union lake had open water on it on this past fri, only the shore had ice on it. It may have skimmed over by now but that one is a slow freezer. If you live in oxford you might want to try pero lake in lapeer, I have read in sportsman's connection that the gills run above average there.

Pero lake would be nice but you can't get on it. Been closed for sometime now.

Parks been locked up for some time now,we tryed parking on the road and walking in & got in trouble last year..
