For those in western South Dakota , Keyhole Reservoir in northeast Wyoming is capped over and some fisherman did well on walleye this past weekend. The west side of the lake has safest ice at this time, avoid Pats Point, Coulter Bay and dam area as they don't have much ice yet.
We saw 3 walleye around 8lbs. come in this weekend and 2 fisherman came late Sunday evening with their limits of waleye weighing 1 1/2-8pds. They also had 1 northern over 30in. and a few crappie and perch. For up to date ice and fishing reports call the Empire Guesthouse at 307-756-3454
