Boots with good ankle support
« on: Dec 01, 2010, 12:04 PM »
Hey gang.  I broke my leg in two spots and sprained my ankle the first time out on the ice last year and am getting ready to get back on the ice.  I have always owned a pair of Mickeys and they have always kept me warm, but have never been very comfortable and gave little ankle support.  My wife will kick me out of the house if I fall again and I am trying to find a pair of boots that will be good for Ice Fishing, but will also give me much needed ankle support.  I appreciate all the posts about the warmth and recommendations of boots you guys like, but does anyone have any suggestions on a warm boot with Good ankle support?   I may get a larger boot then I need and wear an ankle brace, but would rather not if I don't have to.   Any thoughts???  Suggestions????  Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to Ya!!!!!
