Marmish Jigs for Gills

I'm thinking about ordering a Marmish rod and it says that their jigs work the best with the rod. There are a lot of different kinds of jigs in 3 sizes. Was wondering what kind seems to work good for gills? Thanks.

I prefer the smallest #1 size however the #2 is fine also. One of my favorite is the #1 Marmish jig.

all there jigs are fairly small, be sure you buy the weights that match the rod tip you purchased. I love the maggot and ant jigs, both work well for gills

Been on the bubble about ordering and trying one of there rods and jigs.  Don't know about the whole hand lining thing??  Fishing in deeper water could be a mess by the time u get the fish up.  Fin

It sure can be a mess, but the spring bobber works great and it has it's place when the bite gets tuff.

you can use the reel when panfishing, but i would not recomend it
