Does anybody recommend a good ice fishing line for panfish?

I guess I don't have a special ice fishing line so I use Trilene XL which works well for me. I do have Cajun Red ice line on one reel and it has about the same properties as XL.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

cajun red is awesome!! But my favorite is the 2lb fireline micro ice. the fireline is a very thin diameter, and very abrasion resistant when you do hook into a bigger fish.  I have caught a lot of fish over 2lbs and have never had the line break on me.

I just use 2lb trilene XL. It is very manageable for me and I just recently landed a 2lb. rainbow trout with it.

I have a rod set up with the cajun red line and I do like it. This year I bought some P-Line Floroice and I really like that.

I use PowerPro Braid 6lbdia, 20lb test for both pannies and bass/etc. I use a leader of 6lb mono for the bass and 4lb for the pannies. The braid has very little stretch and because of that is supersensitive and quick on the hookset. The mono leader has some stretch when it is needed ; hookset, hard pulls close to the hole by bigger fish etc. The drag and the rod do most of the work when a fish runs. Works for me. The braid does light my Vex up till it absorbs water, and then things are all good.

I thought that the Northland Bionic Ice line was okay. It did have a little bit of memory but it has worked good for me. I used it in 8 pound test for panfish, pike, and trout. I think it is a good overall line but I might be trying something else once I get a new ice rod.

steel color 2 or 3lb trilene micro ice , works great for eveything that doesn't have teeth. Step up to 4 or 6 lb for toothy fish.

Bionic ice is all that will go on my poles anymore. Love that on my straight line reels no memory and on the spinning reels feeds like a dream. 2 lb test landed a 24" 5lb on the nose waleye for me tonight.
