Boat Launch at Sebago Lake State Park
« on: Feb 17, 2010, 06:41 AM »
I have a map of the lake that shows a boat launch in Sebago Lake State park, does anyone know if its safe to launch from there to get on the ice, or is that pretty much open water in that area?

thanks in advance!

DUDE  I would not try it the river that the launch in on has open water every year  i dont even know if you can get into the park this time of year !!

the ice in pretty much non existing  on that end of the lake  except are the islands  you need to find a new place to get on the ice

Naples bait and tackle has some great smelts right now.  I would say they are the second best in the state and the best isn't drop netting much anymore (retired) ;D  We have been driving up there lately to get bait regardless of where we are fishing.
