Pike confirmation pleasant pond
« on: Feb 14, 2010, 02:01 PM »
Well this pike was caught today on pleasant pond in richmond. The fish was 35 inches and weighed around 12.5lbs

She was full of eggs and had what I think looks like either a white perch or a crappie in its belly.

Well I can say that I can say I have seen a pike caught in pleasant pond.

Better not let them go...they destroy our fisheries...besides, they taste good, at least the eagles say they do

I caught one on the dennis hill rd this spring but that is the first big one I've seen.  You can say its not a great trout fishery and its not, but I fish a number of streams that flow into that pond and catch a lot of decent brookies, wonder how long that will last

pike were already confirmed a year or so ago in cobbosee, all these fish had to do was swim down stream. There goes the crappies. But maybe they will feist on the yellow perch first. Although I can't imagine that crappies would be hard to catch for a pike.

I'm sure there are with the andro and the rest dumping into the bay, but larger numbers of them keep getting closer and closer and I'm stating that next people will be fishing the kenne like they are the andro now
