Headed to Moosehead in a couple weeks and wanted to possibly get some ice conditions. I know the Rockwood area well, but we're headed out of Beaver Cove this year, and don't know that area at all. I have a few spots picked out. If anybody knows the lake well, how is ice from Beaver Cove out to Deer Island and south to Moose Island. Is it all safe in that area? Any open spots/pressure ridges we should beware of? Thanks for any info!
