This is a little experiment i am going to conduct, to see how many people i see fishing this spot from now on. I have never seen anyone fish here and it is in plain view...very close to where fish are stocked. Its amazing how much a little open water can deter people. People were looking at us like we were crazy but we had a safe amount of ice.

why would I have to go all the way over there? i did not post all my pictures for a reason...I would never post a pic of a crappie that i caught in that spot

We call that spot the nuns......and you can pick up nice brookies there trolling as well.

no!!!! i never fish mousam but i saw trout rising in the open water so i thought i would go back and catch a few.

The trading post use to be Gallants.....and you would park your trailer on the side of the road....at one time you could launch right at the foot where the guardrail and beach are and park in the lot across the street which was dirt at that time......ohhhh the good old days.....

I drive by this spot on the way to and from work everyday, and I find myself wanting/waiting to see someone there now, just due to this post... will be a great lurker-study... that whole shelf will probably break off due to the picture chasers and you'll have an iceberg full of lurkers/ spot stealers out there even though I rarely if ever see anyone fishing right there.

Funniest part of it all will be that you probably didn't even catch the fish right there, just thought it'd be a nice photo-op or something

Did you see the 4x sunken on the other side?? That's what Dave was up to, was over there helping fish that thing out instead of fishin' the big pond

You are correct Flag....I was looking at the bridge and paid no mind to the trading post....I assumed incorrectly he was on the main lake......he's behind MY place.....
