2nd Annual Christine Reed Memorial Ice Derby
The Sandy Pond Sportsmans Association will be hosting a memorial ice fishing derby February 20th 2010 to remember our lost friend and loved one Christine Reed.
The derby will be closed boundary derby restricted to north or south sandy pond only. Pre-Registration will be held from 6-9 pm at the sportsmans club on Friday February 19th and normal registration from 5-7am on Saturday February 20th. There will be a 100% payback in the adult division with prizes for top 3 pike and perch as well as 1 walleye prize. The children’s money will be comprised into a scholarship fund for a local student at Sandy Creek High School. All children will receive a door prize just for entering and trophy’s will be awarded for the top 3 perch and pike. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 14 and under. Breakfast and lunch will be available at the Sportsmans Club the day of the derby.

Hope to get as many kids involved this year as possible last year we had 22 kids and 87 adults it was a great time
