Stinger Hooks for Walleye
« on: Feb 11, 2010, 09:59 PM »
I am having trouble with walleye stealing minnows off my tip-ups.  I usually
outfit the tip-ups with basic single shank hooks(size 8-10), or small to medium sized trebles(size 8-12).  Do any of you guys/gals use stinger hooks in conjunction with your normal set-up?

Really? Is it a case where you get a flag and theres no fish only a bare hook? Your set-up sounds fine I'm not sure why this is happening, unless there are lots of runt walleyes around and just grab the minnow and run.
