Fly the Team Iceshanty Flag! Iceshanty Proshop
Greetings All,Well, I've been investigating GPS' for the last 6 months and finally pulled the trigger this morning - a Delorme PN-40se. I had just read an article on the 40's in the Northwoods Sporting Journal and the final straw was yesterday's thread regarding navionics SD cards that provide lake contour information. Now I just need to get the navionics card, and most importantly learn how to use the GPS Tight Lines to All
Bring it Tuesday and I'll show ya!!! Benefits of being a P.E. teacher....we have sessions on them at the conferences!!!
Thanks MDH - But, will you have time with all the fish you'll be hauling through the ice??
And how does a GPS have anything to do with P. E.??
delorme has a great active forum on their website. just like this place but all about GPS. you can learn about anything you want from it
Dude! Not even funny. Maybe you'll let me hold the GPS while I am standing over my hole
I havea PN-40, I have no complaints. I had never used a gps before I bought it, and found it to be very simple (like me, I am a map and compass person). In some valleys is western maine, I have had some trouble getting signal, but imagine all GPS units would struggle, as my cell wouldn't get reception either.
