Fished Freeman today in matter of fact. I live in Monticello and fish both lakes quite a bit, fished down in Dodge Camp today which is where the ramp is by the city park. Pretty much the only fishable ice right now would be in small cuts like it. Main lake has maybe a skim on it with open spots. Before it got real warm a friend and I were fishing pretty much everywhere on Freeman, looking for crappie and walleye. Freeman has a large amount of walleye in it but without a ATV or sled it is almost impossible to fish unless u know a whole lot of homeowners. Alot of guys fish the Monon thru the ice also but I have never had much luck on it and if you can get on there I can usually get on other paces that I have had better luck. If the main lake ever locks back up I will drop you a line and maybe I can show you around. Adam Wright
