went out there yesterday and the ice was still 6-7 inches. was out till about 730pm and it was boomin so we are deffinatly making good ice. the bite was slow, but the few we did catch were nice 7-8 inchers. dont be afraid to explore new areas to find them. thats what i did!! good luck.
