The micro bite lite from HT will work with the spring steel flags.  May have to play with position ont he flag to get it to work right though.  It has a clip on it to attach and another clip that acts as a trigger for the trap, slip a piece of mono to turn it off.  Tie the other end of the mono to the trap and when the flag goes the lite and noise will go off.

silvrbck136: Really like your rig. I do something like that with door alarms from dollar store. Will try modifying to get both light and sound, based on your set-up.

This is my "proto-type". Just a start. Ive got approx 300 days for improvements.

got one mounted on a cheapo plastic HT to so they work on that and the heritage lakers.

I have these on my Heritage Lakers -- it clips perfectly onto the flag -- the red lights up, and it has a very loud siren. just tie a piece of mono to break the contact on that little "clip" there, to the cross bar so when the flag goes up it pulls the mono out. cheaper than the alternative at $6 a pop
