live bait

looking to bring my son to a kids only pond for a day of fishing but it says no live bait does this mean we can not use night crawlers?

I may be wrong, but I believe night crawlers ARE LIVE BAIT.

The lawbook usually says either "No live FISH as bait" or "Artificial lures only".  Both are self explanatory...was it the lawbook that you got the info from?

I'd double check to be sure, but a warden told me crawlers were not considered live bait as the law was meant for bait fish.  I have had OK luck when using gulp/gulp alive worms/angle worms and I have a buddy that swears by those little rainbow colored powerbait things if crawlers are a no go.  Jigging can make for a lot of fun, too.
