HAS THERE BEEN ANYBODY ON THE ICE OUT THERE? ANYONE DRIVING THAT WAYSEE ANY ACTION?  LOTS OF NICE FISH IN THERE . USED TO FISH FOR BASS AND NORTHERN THERE . SOME HUGE CRAPPIE ALSO . THEY USE TO LET US FISH AT NIGHT THERE .

IT HAS BEEN A FEW YEARS SINCE I HAVE BEEN THERE WE CAUGHT SOME HUGE GILLS ON THE FAR NORTH END UNDER THE POWER LINES BUT THAT WAS IT.THAT WAS AT NIGHT. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY STILL ALLOW NIGHT FISHING OR NOT. I HAVE NEVER FISHED IT IN THE SUMMER.

Are they even lettin guys ice fish there , i know there was a time when you couldn't....I used to sneak in that place as kid and slay freaks out of that place in the summer,but when they made it public i heard it was gettin to much pressure...

Thanks Every1....Its Got about 5 Inches of solid ice about 40 yards out...and u can fish at nite because they no longer charge 2 fish it....i was just out there checking conditions and see sum holes from other fisherman.....

Fished it today from 930-130. Caught a dink crappie and a nice bass. Had several larger (probably bass) spit the hook. I was on the east and s/east end. May try tommorow for a few hours. The ice where I drilled was 5-6" very hard ice. I was suprised at how clear the water was.

I haven't had any luck there this year yet.  Lastyear we got on some nice gills on the far south end in the weeds.  I have seen some real nice crappie outta there also.

I Was Out For a Bit today also......was messin with the new Cam...there were sum spots on ice where you could see 12-15ft down thru ice into weeds and bottom...was pretty kool... caught a few dink gills n a perch...nuthin nice tho

I just got home.  fished it from 4-6:30.  only caught 2 dinks.  the gills seem to be small this year.  The bite seems slow also.  I did catch some nice crappie early in the season.  Ice is good 5-6 inches
