alas I agree   but thinking hard about it again   I do miss everything ready and no serious loading and unloading every time  esp when bringing a young one

Buy a paintball gun.  They'll stay away.

I'm just here to read what all the experts have to say.

Good enough.  Shoot their traps.

Went out to fish Lake St. George Jan 1, couple of years ago.  We set up at about 6 in the am, all alone on the point we were on.  There were a few hole drilled and covered with fir boughs, but we didn't see anyone around so we didn't worry about it.  Around 8 am this guy shows up and starts to complain that we were fishing in "his" spot.  He had come down to the lake the day before and drilled and marked his holes and we should pick up and get out of his spot.   ::)   A few hours later we did pack up and let him have his spot back. ;D

Well it seems that most would agree to say he was to close. but I must admit that last year on Sabttus I had guys drilling between my traps and then run a line through my traps. I know all involved are regulars here. Tiny you met us at the launch in the morning and we broke throgh with our 4 wheeler hmm. You were cool you fished down the lake a bit But when people show up at 11 am and start poping hole between traps It really left a bad taste in my mouth  and I thought they were to close seeing I left the house a 4am to get my azz up there and claim my spot.
