Thanks Pete. I have never even seen an icegator in person. This site is the reason I am getting one. I try and explain the icegator to my friends and family but they just laugh and say it will be junk. They have no idea! Irish Jigger. Thats around the same time I ordered mine. Thanks

Thanks--- I never saw 1 in person either but after taling to some on here thought I would give it a try and would never go back to a gas powered auger.Mine using an 8 " Strikemaster Lazer bit will cut about an inch of ice per second. Some say they are heavy but the benefits far outweigh the extra weight. Good Luck with yours.

Here is the info from Fish307 The AttackerII is new this season. This drive futures a sealed insulated 24 volt battery pack that simply plugs in and can be charged on or off the drive. Temperatures as low as -30 degrees will not affect these new battery packs. To cut off all power to drive, just unplug the pack. New also is the sealed forward/reverse buttons to seal out the nastiest weather add all of this with the new bigger motor that is drawing less amps. This is the best electric ice auger drive ever designed. The AttackerII will accept 8" bits or smaller and turns 375 rpm at the cutting edge. The drive comes standard with the adapter shaft for hand augers and a 24volt charger. The AttackerII cuts over 40 holes though 28 inches of ice on a single charge` Are you referring to the blue box so that you can attach your allig clips to an outside battery source? ATV, auto etc.... Good question? I would address this question with Greg Pepple. If you look at the Fish307 picture the battery pack (2 9ah's) is enclosed and can be reomved as one. The new Gators will be able to handle the new Li battery packs for next year 2011. I am still awaiting my gator and look forward to its assival next week! Happy Thanksgiving............. Got two adapters one for the lazer and another for the Nils. Beware panfish ! The Ice Ninja has arrived! Mixed Martial Drilling!
