    Hey Bucky,
I'm here on a daily basis, not much activity here though, my time is spent in the general chit chat most of the time. Did you ever get a pair of skis to build a sled? Smitty
No and the way things are shaping up this year it does not look as though I will have any extra money to spend on fun projects like that.  I am only working 4 days a week and I already know I have to make a trip to KY for my sons graduation in the ARMY.  So there went what money I have for winter projects

Yes I know things are tough for alot of people, I have to take a mandatory week layoff in october, then after that...I don't know, the 4th and 1st quarter at my work looks very soft. Time will tell. Good to here from you. Smitty

Just wondering if there is someone out there that could point me to a few good lakes to ice fish this winter. I just moved back to IL after living in northern Wis for 10 years. I live in ogle county just south of Rockford. Any info would help thanks.

    Lake Geneva, Delavan
There is a state park in Rockford that has some good crappie action.  Can't remember the name.

It is really starting to look up.  Lows in the upper 20s and a chance for the white stuff.  Even if they already know it wont stick it is still a good sign.

I'm here. Getting cold now and I was just checking to see what activity was going on here. I just got out the auger and depth finder to charge them. It's been a long summer and I am ready to drill some holes. Hey smitty, where you working at in Fulton?

I need to get stuff ready too. Be better to do it before it gets cold outside. Thinking about doing a mod to my one-man sled. I need a rack to hold the IceGAtor and auger, both assembled and unassembled. I like to pull the sled to my spot and then put the auger together. But once I am there I like to leave it together for the day and still be able to move around.
