Fiddlehead and brown trout.
« on: Mar 30, 2009, 01:43 PM »
I fished today with Rich and Scotty....
I had one flag that was a bait steeler, and Scotty had a wind flag....
Rich on the other hand had the lucky spot...
Congrats again on your first brown(s) of the season !!

Fiddlehead and brown trout

I opened the thread thinking you had some recipe'!

I have this one spot I go to with a bucket, some crawlers and 2 fishing poles (Sorry not ice fishing). I cast out a couple crawlers and set the poles down. Collect up a bucket worth of fiddleheads, reel in a Brown or two, throw them on top of the fiddleheads and hoof it back home...

It's coming soon to a brook near you!  ;D

Thanks guys, after the rain it turned out to be a great day fishing with Scott and Chris. March is always my favorite time of the season.  Too bad it's the END of the season. But hey! Isn't there "another" season right around the corner? ::)
Looking forward to some "crappie" nights!
