looks like ill check nasons if i cant get on at the nw river beach, im thinking it might be thicker because the ice sets up there earlier than most of the bay.

i would be careful regardless of where you go.  i came off nassons on tuesday and it was sketchy all the way accross.  lots of cracks that are only going to get bigger.  make sure you play it smart

Fished it yesterday, the Raymond side (Raymond neck), not too bad, a few cracks, sealed over, ice was still anywhere from 8" to 14". Shore was good too, except there was a patch or two, where you could start to see a little water. Had a guy fly by me on a sled going south. Out toward the open part of the lake, there appeared to be a large pressure ridge, as you could see what appeared like someone plowed a line going north to south.

I was down by Jordans store and Nasons beach today and the shoreline is opening up from what I could see.

After the rain tonight i'm sure it'll be hard to get on in alot of places on that side of the lake.
